The Quest for more links is an ongoing process here in the internet world. Fortunes are made and lost depending on how many links you have coming into your site. Bottom line - your search engine ranking really does count.

LinkSlut is just a way of saying you really want links.. much like calling you a "Cookie Slut" if you ate the whole bag of cookies. There is nothing inappropriate about the word - but rather a term of endearment.
