Blogging for Links
Blogs are a good way to get links to your site. There are several ways to do it without getting into trouble with Google.
You can create a free account on Wordpress or Blogger and write about the same topic as your site. Put links in the blog posts that point to pages on your site that are about the same topic. More on Blogging for Links
